Here is a picture daughter drew just a few months after I was removed from the home. A few interesting things to note:

• 7 year old who never hyphenated her name is now using both mothers maiden name and her last name
• picture includes seven subjects - my daughter, son, their mother, 3 cats and a dog. Dad is not in the picture

Here is "card" the kids made for me for father's day. Why it's so important and why I always show this picture is the fact that *this* father's day was June 19 2005.

Since I was leaving for work that Saturday before (the 18th) the kids gave me my card early. So the day before I left, my kids were telling me that they loved me and were listing out the reasons too. 5 days later, they would go to a shelter for battered women and families - allegedly because I was abusive to them and to their mother.
